Welcome to SSO2026, the 11th Saudi Society of Optometry Conference, held jointly with the 6th World Congress of Optometry. This will be the first WCO hosted in the Eastern Mediterranean, and Riyadh is proud to welcome the global optometry and vision care community for three days of learning, collaboration, and impact.

I am delighted to say that for the first time, the World Council of Optometry (WCO) will host its World Congress in the Eastern Mediterranean region, joining forces with the Saudi Society of Optometry (SSO) for the 6th World Congress of Optometry (WCO6) and the 11th Conference of Saudi Optometry (SSO 2026) in Riyadh, this November 27–29. Global leaders in optometry and vision care will gather at this landmark event to exchange knowledge, advance research, and strengthen international collaboration.

The program will feature expert lectures, hands-on workshops, poster sessions, continuing education courses, and the OptiVision exhibition— creating powerful opportunities for learning, partnership, and innovation.
